Fatimah Lalani, DO, FACOG
Born and raised in Texas, Dr Lalani completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in El Paso, TX in 2004 and moved to Houston. Although she enjoyed private practice for a few years, she found her passion in taking care of the needs of underserved women of southwest Houston. She joined HOPE clinic in 2015 and took over the role of CMO in 2022. She enjoys gardening and trying out new restaurants with her husband and three daughters.
Lisa Goldthwaite MD, MPH, FACOG
Lisa Goldthwaite, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Advisor at Upstream USA, offering technical guidance across departments to enhance program design and outcomes. A board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist with a subspecialty in Complex Family Planning, she’s an alumna of Oregon Health & Science University and the University of Colorado, where she also earned her MPH. Dr. Goldthwaite’s tenure at Stanford University School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor and international consultant through SPIRES has honed her expertise in reproductive health care. Currently, she practices in various settings and maintains her role as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford, focusing on patient-centered care, postpartum contraception, medical education, and quality improvement in health care.
Emily Decker, MPH
Emily Decker is Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at Upstream USA, with a 15-year track record in research and program implementation for sexual and reproductive health services. Her expertise lies in data collection infrastructure and public health program evaluation. Emily holds an MPH from George Washington University and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Felicia Hernández-Holmes
Felicia Hernández-Holmes serves as the Regional Director of Partnerships - West for Upstream USA in Central Washington, where she champions universal access to sexual and reproductive healthcare. With a focus on elevating marginalized and at-risk communities through her expertise in reproductive health education, clinical services, public education, youth development, and psychology, Felicia is committed to integrating contraceptive care as a fundamental aspect of healthcare. Her dedication extends beyond her role at Upstream, as she actively participates in community organizations like the Yakima Community Coalition and Risk to Resiliency, and contributes as an Executive Board member for the Latino Community Fund of Washington State. Outside of her professional pursuits, Felicia is deeply rooted in her community, supporting her family's tattoo business, TopKat Tattoo, relishing the Yakima Valley's offerings with her family, and furthering her education in the MPH program at Central Washington University.
Kim Potter, MSW, MPH
Kim Potter is VP of Practice Transformation at Upstream USA. A Boston University alumna, she has extensive experience in social work and public health, focusing on substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, mental health, and homelessness. Kim has worked on quality improvement in NYC healthcare facilities and is dedicated to addressing health inequities, especially in women's health. She enjoys travel and outdoor activities in her leisure time.
